Making Plans, Setting Goals

I will agree that this is quite an undertaking! No not the blogging thing, the losing weight thing! I have learned that the best way to tackle such an enormous task is one day at a time or one bite at a time. You have heard the old saying, “How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!”

Well, I am not looking to eat an elephant but I am looking to accomplish a huge goal and the only way that I am going to do it is by having short term goals and working daily.  We already know my long term goal(lose 145 pounds) but what are my short term goals?

  • Walk (eventually Run) on my treadmill daily
  • Cut my daily intake of calories
  • Blog everyday

So  what do you think? I would like to have this weight off sooner than later but I have to be realistic. I am giving my self until my birthday which is in July.  So a little less than one year! If I do it sooner, great!

One day at a time! Off to the treadmill for me!
